I’m Zachary Saunders, an infrastructure and software developer based in Toronto, Ontario. I’ve spent the last six-plus years building, deploying, and maintaining production systems across AWS, Azure, and DigitalOcean, with a heavy focus on Python, systems integration, and keeping complex migrations from catching fire.

Before I moved into software full-time I spent six years as a Red Seal journeyman electrician in Calgary: four commercial (electrical, fire alarm, PA, and data systems in institutional settings), two residential. The trade taught me to trace problems end to end instead of guessing, and that instinct still shapes how I work on software.
